ChatGPT vs GABS - Did GABS get it wrong?

A lot of people are using ChatGPT for a lot of things recently. Every day you wake up someone is asking it to do incredible and mind-blowing things as well as help with day to day life. Well over here at Beer Fans we aren't just using it to help but also to start a debate. This is what we did - We asked ChatGPT to tell us what the Top 10 craft beers in Australia are. We then took that list and put it next to the GABS Hottest 100 Top 10 from this year. These are the results.

  • You guys got it right, the ChatGPT has some good beers (as you have already noted) but is overtaken by the more commercial brands who can afford to pay to be there. A little bit like Google really, so don’t always trust them. An interesting exercise, none the less.
    And as every winemaker in Oz will tell you, there is an awful lot of wine made in conjunction with a Coopers Pale Ale or two. :-)
